Muhammad Dawood
Founder
Muhammad Dawood is a synthetic biologist and geneticist. He believes that establishing the genetic diagnosis and screening the carriers in the population is the first line of defense against genetic diseases.

He has been the co-founder and managing director of Octopus (2017-2021). Octopus is first of its kind science communication startup that believes that science belongs to everyone therefore science must be communicated in local languages so that the students can understand it easily.

Apart from that, he is also working on the development of cost-effective laboratory equipment which will be helpful in democratizing biology.
